Interiors and their design are like a puzzle
I have a background in several different worlds:
a fashion apparel career, art and painting past, and an economics education, while having undertaken many of my own gut home renovations.
These all coalesce into how I see a space.
A space may want a certain layout, demand a specific color, need the feel of warmth, or crave the use of pattern, all the while necessitating a certain function. And this is how I see it, very clearly, and enjoy delivering on that vision together with a client in how they need and want their space to be, as a collaboration.
Each decision along the way informs one part of the puzzle, but making them happen is an intrinsic part as well. An essential aspect eased with my years of home renovations: working with architects, or only with general contractors, to foregoing them both altogether and running them myself, hiring all the sub-contractors. I have worked under all different types of constraints: budgets, time, structure, style, you-name-it, and thoroughly enjoy the problem-solving involved to complete the puzzle.
